iyaISLAMABAD: Jealousy against Shahbaz Sharif has made Imran Khan mentally sick, especially the power projects installed by the former in different parts of Punjab has affected his mental health, said State minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb.
In a riposte to the Imran’s tirade against Shahbaz Sharif in Mansehra gathering on Monday, the minister said that people of KP needed a chief minister like Shehbaz.
Recounting the development work carried out in Punjab by Shehbaz, she said that hospitals in all 36 districts of Punjab had been uplifted and modernised. She said that if Imran could find some time from his obsession with lies he should visit hospitals in Bahawalpur, Muzaffargarh, Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, Shahdara and Lahore to witness a complete turnaround there.
“Perhaps Imran is feeling a pinch of shame by seeing Orange Line Metro Train and a road network in the province.”
She said that Imran could not hide his incompetency by hurling allegations against others. The minister said that for claiming parity with Nawaz Sharif he would have to get elected twice as chief minister and thrice as prime minister of Pakistan and serve the people like him. She dared Imran to launch uplift projects or at least eradicate dengue before pointing fingers at Sharif brothers. Marriyum said Imran was still holding the finger of the umpire.
