KARACHI: Police and Rangers’ teams carried out a joint operation in Baloch Para area near Jahangir Road and arrested 30 suspects.
After sealing all the area’s entry and exit points, they carried out house-to-house search during which they apprehended 30 suspects who were shifted to a police station for further investigations.
Separately, police also arrested five accused after encounters in PIB Colony, Korangi and Defence areas. According the commanding SSP, the arrested were involved in more than 70 cases of street crimes.
On the other hand, authorities also carried out a targeted operation in Sehwan and apprehended a key leader of gang wars – Qari Qasim – and his three accomplices. Sources said that the arrested were wanted in extortion and murder cases and were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
