An earthquake rattled Islamabad and other parts of the country on Saturday. Met Office sources said the earthquake rattled Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore, Chitral, Abbottabad, Kohat, Siaklkot, D I Khan, Toba Tek Singh, Jang and other cities and town. However, no loss of life was initially reported.
It intensity was 6.4 of Richter scale and its epicenter was in Hindukush mountain of Afghanistan.
