HYDERABAD: In the presence of parents, students of the Pak-Turk International Schools on Thursday staged a protest demonstration against government’s orders directing all Turkish citizens associated with the educational projects to leave Pakistan. Chanting slogans, the protestors denounced government’s move to expel teachers and their families from Pakistan. They said that there were 28 campuses of the Pak-Turk Schools in the country with 20 Turkish teachers providing standard education to 12000 students since last 21 years. The protesters also said that with the expulsion of their teachers, they will be deprived of standard education they have been receiving so far. They criticised the decision to deport those Turk, who were associated with the schools and their families as well. They also demanded of the government to reconsider the decision and allow those soon-to-be deported Turks to continue their stay in Pakistan and to serve students.
